Lightbulbs R Us policies, terms and conditions are set forth below.  Please read the following information carefully.  By using this site or submitting an order for products or services, you indicate your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, the terms and conditions set forth below.  These terms and conditions may be changed without notice by Lightbulbs R US in the future.  It is your responsibility as a user to periodically return to this page to review the terms and conditions for amendments.  The amended terms shall take effect automatically the day they are posted on the site.  Your continued use of the Lightbulbs R US web site following any amendments will constitute agreement to such amendments.  These Terms of use were last revised on 03/19/10   .

Brands: Name Brand refers to General Electric, Philips, or Osram-Sylvania. Private Label  refers to lesser known  brands with similar specifications.

Substitutions & Backorders:  Lightbulbs R US  reserves the right at any time to substitute items meeting or exceeding the specifications as listed in the description of the item.  Lightbulbs R US  may substitute items to avoid lengthy backorders, to replace discontinued items and in an effort to maintain the displayed prices.  Lightbulbs R US  will substitute items of equivalent function, quality and similarity of use. You will be notifide within one business day of an item partially or fully backordered. Any item that is backordered will ship out as soon as it becomes available.Allow 10-14 business days for backorders to be filled.

Order Changes/Cancellations:  Lightbulbs R US  does not accept changes in shipping once the order has been shipped. The buyer must contact Lightbulbs R US for an RGA request.

Delivery:  All orders are shipped within 24-48 hours unless the item is not in stock. Please allow a minimum of 4-10 business days for delivery of your order. Lightbulbs R US will try to ship your order out on time and within the stated hours above however, Lightbulbs R US is not responsible or liable for any delay in receiving or completing your order that is caused by an event beyond Lightbulbs R US  control.

Damaged Shipments:  If the packaging shows obvious signs of damage, please note this when signing for the package from the carrier and report this immediately to the carrier, then contact Lightbulbs R US.  PLEASE DO NOT REFUSE SHIPMENT refused shippments will be treated as an unauthorizes return.

Products: Lightbulbs R US may discontinue any product, at any time, without notice.  In this instance you (the buyer) will be notified. Lightbulbs R US has the right to cancel the order or to substitute an item of equivalent specifications.  The product prices displayed on this site do not include shipping and handling or sales taxes, if applicable, which will be added to your total invoice price. 

Pricing:  Prices displayed on the Lightbulbs R US  web site apply solely to orders placed online.  If product price errors are discovered, they are promptly corrected on our systems and the corrected price will apply.  We will notify you if your order includes items that were incorrectly priced.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  In the event of any price increase the customer will be contacted for approval prior to processing any order.  Lightbulbs R US will not accept the order until pricing issues have been corrected and the buyer has been notified and accepted the new pricing in writing.

Order Acceptance:  Lightbulbs R UShas the right to accept or reject any order placed over our web site.  Orders are not binding uponLightbulbs R US  until accepted by one or more of our representatives.  Lightbulbs R USreserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer.  Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.

Payment:  American Express, Visa, Master Card and Discover are all accepted. 

Sales Tax:  You are responsible for the payment of any state and local sales or use taxes that may apply to your order.  The sales tax is calculated based on the full invoice price and may include charges for shipping and handling if required by law.  We will collect the sales  tax on orders from the State of Ohio.

Shipping Policy:  Lightbulbs R US passes responsibility of delivery to the carrier at the time of pickup at our warehouse.  Losses of items during shipment are the responsibility of the carrier.  Lightbulbs R UScan provide you (the buyer) if requested with a tracking number and a toll free number for the carrier.  It is the buyers responsibility to contact the carrier and notify them of the loss before the reclaiming process can begin.  Our standard method of shipping orders within the continental US is via Federal Express Companies, USPS. Unfortunately from time to time Lightbulbs R US web site may miscalculates freight charges on the buyers online order.  If any additional shipping cost is incurred the customer will be contacted prior to shipment and we will not accept the order until you (the buyer) have agreed to the new shipping charges.  Lightbulbs R US can change at anytime the carrier picked to deliver your order. No refunds on shipping charges.

International Shipments:  Lightbulbs R US will only ship to addresses within the U.S.A.   Extra Shipping and Handling charges will be added to orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska.

Warranties:  ALL PRODUCTS ARE SOLD "AS IS", AND CARRY NO WRITTEN WARRANTY BY  LIGHT BULBS R US OR THE LAMP MANUFACTURER UNLESS SPECIFIED. LAMPS THAT Lightbulbs R US WARRANTS WILL BE REPLACED UNLESS FAILURE IS DUE TO MISAPPLICATION,MISINSTALLATION, BALLAST OR EQUIPMENT FAILURE. REPLACEMENT LAMPS MAY BE PICKED AT OUR WAREHOUSE OR SHIPPED AT ADDITIONAL COST TO YOU.

Product Returns: All returns must be within 21 days of the original invoice date for non-defective product. Thereafter, all sales are final. All items must be returned in "as new" condition in the original packaging and be unused. Returns will be charged 25% restock fee. The restock fee is not a penalty. It is a costly process to prepare for resale and restock products. Shipping charges are non-refundable. When returning products you assume responsibility for insuring the return shipment.

Jurisdiction and Venue:  You and Lightbulbs R Us  (collectively the "Parties;" individually a "Party") irrevocably agree that any legal action, suit or proceeding brought by it in any way arising out of these Terms and Conditions must be brought solely and exclusively in the  state courts of the State of Ohio located in the County of  Miami,Ohio, and irrevocably accept and submits to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of each of the aforesaid courts in person, generally and unconditionally with respect to any action, suit or proceeding brought by it or against it by the other Party.
